Wheel of Monotony - Secrets To Save You Hours

This is a guide designed to make winning something decent
on the wheel of monotony a much easier and pleasant affair.
Hopefully by the end, you should know what sort of prize you will get from your spin
immediately after you spin, so you can see whether it is worth waiting for, or not,
and also see how long it will take for the wheel to finish spinning,
and who knows, I might even give you the link that lets you collect your prize,
even if you accidentally close the window (only if you're lucky though!).

Well, let's start!

I guess the first place you think I'll be directing you to is through the barren land of Tyrannia
to the wheel itself - wrong, sorry!

Instead of doing that, follow this link to the ::Wheel of Monotony::

This should look a bit different from the normal first page of the Wheel,
but don't be alarmed by all the coding.
This is a Neopets link, un-tampered with, so using it won't get you into trouble, it's just something TNT didn't really want us to find!

Ok so now you have the page open, make sure you have the neopoints you need to spin the wheel (hopefully you do since its only a little bit!)
Ignore the script at the side, for now its not important.

Click spin the wheel.

Now the script's important. This is where you find out what prize you'll recieve.
The spript should now be much shorter than before.
Look for the part in the script where you see <prize>99</prize> (with any number in it).
It may be easier for you to copy all the text and paste it into a word pad to do this.
The number betweeen the prize tags coincides with what sort of prize you will recieve when the spin is finished:

1 - Mazzew Petpet
2 - Tyrannian Petpet Paintbrush / Wheel Avatar if you're lucky
3 - Some Food eg. Honey Blossom
4 - Tyrannian Weapon / Neopet loses 1/2 its HP (can be restored by healing springs etc.)
5 - 5000 NP or a souvenir item eg. Wheel of monotony pen etc.
6 - Lottery ticket, or the avatar
7 - The light Faerie will appear and increase on of your pet's abilities (note this means the pet must already have one faerie ablility)
8 - Either a Mag or Sho codestone (of the red variety)
9 - Main or Bri codestone (of the regular type)
10 - Takes you to the volcano where you may get a new battledome opponent called Magnus the Torch
11 - Neopet loses 1/2 its HP (can be restored by healing springs etc.)
12 - A tyrannian souvenir eg. Pterattack Action Figure, Wheel of Monotony Pen etc.
13 - A lottery ticket (you'll be neomailed if you win!)
14 - Tyrannian Paint Brush
15 - You'll be sent to the Lair of The Beast... (meh I can hardly contain my excitement!)
16 - 4 bags of Neopoints (thats 20,000!!)
99 - It's an error, ither you've already spun within 24 hours, or you don't have enough NP to spin
(although glitches do mean that sometimes, with either of these things,
the wheel will still spin apparently, though I've not been lucky enough to have this happen to me!)

You will also see that in the script there is something saying <spin_duration>184600</spin_duration> (with any number in between)

This is the time left until the wheel will stop spinning. (It's not in minutes, so don't panic!)
This number will be continually updated on ::this page::
You can keep checking it to see how much time is left. It should appear with something such as:

username=jhudorasclouds&server=Our records show that the wheel hasn't finished spinning!&timeleft=3526000

If you divide the number by 60,000, this is the number of minutes you have left to wait!

eg. 3526000 divided by 60,000 is 58.7, so my spin will finish in just under an hour!

Also, by following this link, it means that even if you exit the page where the wheel is spinning
(thus otherwise cancelling your spin), you will still be awarded your prize!
This is because, even if you cancel your spin, the counter continues to count down.
When the spin is finished, a message similar to this will show up:

!Only(and I mean ONLY) when there is a 0!

If you click it before the time runs out, you will recieve this message:

"If the wheel is spinning in another browser window, you only have to wait for it to finish. If the wheel is not open in another window, your spin is no longer valid and you'll have to try again in another 24 hours." And you will not recieve your prize as your spin will be cancelled!"

However, if you do everything correcly (well it's easy enough, isn't it?), you should be awarded your prize!
